Unfortunately, I am still not an expert poker player but I have learned how to be better. Theory and Practice is not an easy read; it’s got some charts, it’s got some formulas; but it’s also got a lot of good information to will make you more money playing No Limit Hold’em.

Theory and Practice is the ideal read for anyone looking to improve their cash game or dabid play. But the good part about this book is that the book makes a very explicit distinction in explaining the difference between limit and no limit; and between deep stack no limit and short stack no limit; and between cash game and tournament. It teaches concepts above and beyond the basic “tight and aggressive” formula that most every other book advocates rather simplistically, I might add.
